Une revue exploratoire à visée systématisée sur la gestation pour autrui transnationale en Chine

Résumé
La gestation pour autrui (GPA) transnationale est généralement étudiée sous l’angle de parents d’intention du Nord global qui recourent à des femmes porteuses en Asie, tandis que la configuration inverse demeure peu documentée. Cette revue exploratoire examine les particularités des projets transnationaux de GPA entrepris par des parents d’intention en Chine. Elle s’appuie sur une étude systématique de huit bases de données et a permis d’identifier 12 articles empiriques sur le sujet publiés entre 2019 et 2024. L’analyse thématique de ces articles a fait ressortir huit thèmes : la mobilité, la surveillance, la vulnérabilité, le privilège, la commercialisation, les incertitudes légales, le dévouement et la stigmatisation. À partir du cadre d’analyse des mobilités reproductives, cette recension met en évidence les spécificités du contexte chinois et propose une réflexion critique sur les enjeux sociaux, politiques et réglementaires qui entourent cette pratique encore peu étudiée.
